Objective

The primary target for CEWCE’s programs are vulnerable women and children that have no particular skill or education that will help them succeed in their country’s post-war society. They are universally traumatized and desperate. Basic needs are not being met for these people.

CEWCE believes the weak position of women and children, of relationships, of communities, of religion and of commerce undermines any country. When society develops strong and empowered women it builds a lasting foundation.

The desperate circumstances of these Liberian women are caused by their poor economic position. Rather than provide economic assistance on a hit or miss basis, CEWC believes that it is much more productive to offer deprived women the tools of education, technical and vocational training that will then enable them to find employment and increase their earning power.

CEWCE exists to provide the rehabilitation of economically deprived women and children by offering them accommodations, technical training, quality employment in CEWCE partner companies, medical services (including free medicines), legal counseling, and prevention of abuse and violence.
