Skills Training Program
The Skills Training Program, which charges no tuition, is made up of class work, opportunities for practical experience and internships in six trade courses including:

  • Hairdressing
  • Pastry & Catering
  • Sewing
  • Tie Dyeing & Soap Making
  • Additionally, all students in the Skills Training Program are taught Small Enterprise Development, and receive general counseling in Psychosocial Therapy, and in Health

 

Computer Training Program
CEWCE’s aims to help less privileged individuals and communities in Liberia achieve their goals and dreams through relevant, accessible and affordable technologies. Through the use of the Microsoft Unlimited Potential program, CEWCE can expand IT boundaries by integrating IT into traditional curriculum and customized training to support the needs of local job markets and local community services - needs that can be used to link local communities with other communities both in Liberia and around the world - thereby enabling economic growth in local markets and changing lives of everyday people.

Some of the courses offered are:

  • Course 1: Computer Fundamentals
  • Course 2: Digital Media Fundamentals
  • Course 3: Internet and World Wide Web Fundamentals
  • Course 4: Web Design Fundamentals
  • Course 5: Word Processing Fundamentals
  • Course 6: Presentation Fundamentals
  • Course 7: Database Fundamentals
  • Course 8: Spreadsheet Fundamentals
  • Course 9: Hardware

 

Adult Literacy Program
The Adult Literacy Program involves class work in literacy and numeracy and serves three levels of preparedness:

  • Beginners
  • Intermediate
  • Advanced

 

Children’s Resource Center The empowerment of children is one of CEWCE’s major mandates. To achieve this goal CEWCE gathers vulnerable children in a variety of locations to teach them their basic rights as well as participate in informal but organized educational programs such as:

  • Rights of the Child and Personal Hygiene
  • Excursions to Liberian monuments and other educational sites
  • Story telling and watching movies
  • Reading and recitation
  • Singing and dancing

Early Childhood Development Program:

  • Nursery
  • Kindergarten
